DMLC 2020 Award Nominations

Each year we strive to recognize and celebrate the achievements of Miracle Network Dance Marathon organizations that demonstrate excellence in programming and initiatives as they champion the cause of local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and provide valuable experiences for members of the campus and local communities.

Who can apply? An individual may nominate any Miracle Network Dance Marathon organization, whether it is one they work with directly or an organization from another campus, for multiple awards. Please submit separate applications for each award you are nominating an organization for. Only collegiate Miracle Network Dance Marathon programs are eligible for awards, with the exception of the Best High School Dance Marathon Award.

The DMLC 2020 Award Submission form can be found here. The submission deadline is June 10, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. PST. This has been extended from the original deadline of June 7.

Application Tips

Answer the Questions: As a part of the online application form, programs should attach a document with responses to the specific questions listed for each award. Keep in mind that programs will be judged only on the content that is submitted with their application and the award judges have likely never been to your campus and may not be aware of what your program has accomplished, so include as much detail as possible.

Include Supporting Documentation: Programs are encouraged to attach photos or any additional supporting documentation to supplement their application and provide additional details.

Ask Questions: Programs are encouraged to connect with their hospital and university advisors and Dance Marathon Managers about award applications.
