My Why: Govin Kaggal
“When I was in 6th grade, my sister contracted typhoid fever, and I saw, firsthand, the pain and struggle she went through as she overcame the fever. Our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth, treated my sister with so much care and optimism that I knew that she was in the best hands the entire time. Having the opportunity to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through Lamar University Dance Marathon is something I take great pride in. It is the best way I can think of to say thank you to St. Elizabeth Hospital for taking care of my sister.”
