UMaine Students Dance the Night Away for Miracles

It’s #MiracleMakerMonday at EMHS Foundation Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and today we’d like to give a shout out to the more than 600 UMaine students who registered and danced 12, err 10 hours, thanks to a snow storm, for miracles on Saturday, February 10th!

UMaine’s Black BearTHON is one of the hundreds of dance marathons across the country involving college and university students! The funds stay in the community where they’re raised to benefit the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. UMaine supports Eastern Maine Medical Center‘s neonatal intensive care unit!

And, drum roll, please… In 2017/2018, UMaine students raised more than $34,000 to help doctors and nurses at EMMC buy the equipment, programs, and services needed to provide remarkable care to our tiniest patients! Thank YOU!

And, since 2012, UMaine students have raised close to $350,000 to help make miracles happen for Maine kids! Truly incredible!
