RockeTHON Visits Nationwide Children’s Hospital – Toledo

This past weekend, members of the University of Toledo Dance Marathon (RockeTHON) Executive Board, visited Nationwide Children’s Hospital – Toledo to learn more about the hospital and the patients and families they fundraise for year-round.

During their half-day retreat, the team was given a tour of the NICU as well as the Pediatrics floor where they were able to drop off a handful of motivational cards they created for the patients. They met and heard from nurses, a child life specialist, hospital Vice President, Jen Strauss, and Miracle Kid, Roman. This was a great opportunity for the Executive Board members to not only learn more about the impact RockeTHON has on the hospital, but to also begin planning and setting goals for the year. They said, “this was a cherished experience that we had and we are so excited to go back!”.

RockeTHON is tentatively scheduled to take place at the University of Toledo on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
