Happy Dance Marathon event season! We are so excited to see your hard work and dedication coming to fruition – congratulations to programs who have completed their 2022 event and good luck to those to come!

Deadlines Reminders:

• Graduating Senior Leadership Award applications are OPEN and due April 14, 2022
  • Please share this application with any graduating Senior including committee members, team captains, and top fundraisers!
• DMLC Call for Content and Award applications are due May 15, 2022

Resources and Additional Information:

• Event Check In feature of the DonorDrive Fundraising App:
  • Benefits of using event check-in: 
    • It requires the participant to download the mobile app as a part of the check-in progress. This will ensure all participants are logged into the app during fundraising pushes.
    • It unlocks another layer of communication options to participants. You can target both people who are present with you, and those that have not yet checked in with segmented messages. We’ve never had a simple, turn-key way to communicate directly with people who have chosen not to attend the event. This is a huge communication opportunity.
  • Known Limitations:
    • There is no dashboard to see how many participants have checked in at a glance. However, this can be seen by pulling a report.
    • This app check-in may be one stop in a multi-step check-in process based on the information you need to gather for your university. While it’s “another thing” to do, it only takes a few seconds on the participant side and unlocks many new options!
  • This Knowledge Base article walks through how to enable and set up event-check in.

  • As a part of our partnership with the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA), we are pleased to share resources and research that they have published to support our DE&I learning efforts.
