National Dance Marathon Movement Unites for Child Health Day

On Monday, October 7, the Miracle Network Dance Marathon movement, represented at over 400 college, university, and K-12 campuses, united together to celebrate Child Health Day and reaffirm their commitment to “Change Kids Health, Change the Future.”

For several years, Miracle Network Dance Marathon has utilized Child Health Day as a day of action, with Dance Marathon programs and participants coming together to raise funds and awareness for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

On Child Health Day, Dance Marathon programs, participants, alumni, and community members helped to #ChangeKidsHealth by:

  • Encouraging individuals to join the movement by registering as a fundraiser for their campus’s Dance Marathon program,
  • Asking others to donate and show their support for the kids treated in their local communities, and
  • Spreading the word that children’s hospitals need donations to save kids’ lives.

Check out just a few of the incredible examples of how Dance Marathon programs have been engaging on Child Health Day below. To see even more great examples, follow the hashtags #ChildHealthDay and #ChangeKidsHealth.
