Knight-Thon: Tomorrow Starts Now

Following two challenging years of virtual and hybrid events, Knight-Thon, Dance Marathon at the University of Central Florida, was able to unite their campus once again this year on March 26-27 for their 20-hour event in the Addition Financial Arena, benefiting Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Knight-Thon 2022, presented by Coca-Cola Beverages Florida LLC, served as a celebration of the passion, dedication, and commitment UCF students have continually shown through their year-long fundraising efforts that support local kids. The event was centered on the message Tomorrow Starts Now, focusing on the impact participants have as they change kids’ health and change the future.

This year, more than 1,400 UCF students registered to fundraise and advocate for children’s health. Whether a part of Greek Life teams, Registered Student Organizations, or individual student groups, these passionate leaders united behind a common cause to make a difference. Many students joined as first-year dancers, who despite having never seen an in-person Dance Marathon event before, committed to becoming a part of this movement. Thanks to the support of these participants, donors, alumni, corporate partners, and affiliated K-12 programs, Knight-Thon celebrated over $811,000 raised for Orlando Health Arnold Palmer, their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

We are incredibly grateful for the UCF campus community and those who made this year possible. Your support makes a tremendous difference for our hospital, and provides hope and healing to the patients and families we serve.
