Congratulations to Teens with Heartsongs, recipient of the Best K-12 Campus Fundraising Award

Miracle Network Dance Marathon recognized top-performing programs at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ Ignite: Peer-to-Peer Leadership Conference held in Kansas City, MO, from July 17-20, 2025.

The Best K-12 Campus Fundraising Award recognizes a K-12 fundraising program that has demonstrated exceptional success in fundraising, recruitment, community engagement, and overall event experience. These programs are building a strong foundation of support for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals by inspiring students to take initiative and connect their peers to the mission.

This year’s winner, Teens with Heartsongs, exemplifies what it means to lead a collaborative and community-driven effort. The program engages over 50 regional high schools across the DC Metro Area with nearly 700 students participating since its inception in 2020. Teens with Heartsongs empowers high school students to operate their own student-led teams that together host team fundraisers as well as learn from community leaders and conduct their own individual fundraising outreach. Students also have the ability to participate on a teen board that helps run the entire program.

With leadership teams guiding their peers, these students implement creative and mission-centered campaigns that reflect the unique spirit of their communities. In 2024, Teens with Heartsongs raised over $144,000.00!

If you know of a high school student that may be interested in participating in the 2025 fall program, please visit their website for more information on how to participate.

Congratulations to Teens with Heartsongs, winner of the 2025 Best K-12 Campus Fundraising Award!
