Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School Takes a Stand For The Kids

This past year, Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School joined the Miracle Network Dance Marathon movement and Central Florida Dance Marathon family when it became our first independent K-12 Dance Marathon program. They activated their campus to unite as one and join forces to raise funds and awareness for Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. It is no easy feat to bring Dance Marathon to a campus, let alone a junior and senior high school campus. However, the students worked tirelessly to make miracles possible and make change happen for the kids.

They hosted their inaugural Dance Marathon event on February 22nd and rolled out the red carpet for their participants and community attendees. With a goal of $5,000, the students set out to make a difference in their first year as a Dance Marathon program – and they certainly did, exceeding their goal by raising $6,796.70 for Orlando Health Arnold Palmer!

We are so proud of these amazing students and community members who are helping to change kids’ health, and change the future of pediatric healthcare.
