On Monday, October 3rd, you can join with thousands of Miracle Network Dance Marathon participants in celebrating Child Health Day and coming together to Join the movement, Raise funds for children’s hospitals, and Share the message that Kids Can’t Wait.

Incentives: If you raise $150 between October 3 – 7, you’ll qualify for an exclusive merch set that includes Miracle Network Dance Marathon buttons, a keychain, and an awesome bucket hat!  If you raise an additional $350 ($500 total) between October 3 – 7, you’ll qualify for both the merch set AND a Miracle Network Dance Marathon crew neck sweatshirt!

Rules & Regulations for the Child Health Day Leaderboard

CMN Hospitals has created a series of challenges for programs to compete for the opportunity to win a share of $20,000 in monetary prizes for their local children’s hospital through participation in Child Health Day.

Challenges will run from 12 AM ET on October 3, 2022 to 6 AM ET on October 4, 2022.

Leaderboard updates for all three challenges will be posted periodically at dancemarathon.com. Updates will be posted at approximately: 10AM, 1PM, 4PM, 7PM, 10PM ET on October 3rd. Winners will be announced no later than October 5th.

Program Fundraising Average per Registered Participant Challenge:

The 3 Dance Marathon programs that have the highest fundraising average per registered participant on Child Health Day will win a portion of funds for their program. The prize will be distributed among the top three programs, regardless of tier, in proportion with their fundraising average on Child Health Day. Fundraising average will be determined using the total amount fundraised on Child Health Day and the total number of participants registered for the event at the close of the challenge.

Program Registration Challenge:

The Dance Marathon programs that register the most participants on Child Health Day will win a portion of funds for their program. The prize will be distributed among the top program in each tier(*) in proportion to the number of people they register on Child Health Day.

Program Fundraising Challenge:

The Dance Marathon programs that fundraise the most on Child Health Day will win a portion of funds for their program. The prize will be distributed among the top program in each tier(*) in proportion to the amount they raise on Child Health Day.

(*) Programs will be competing against other programs in the same tier:

  • High School Tier: All High School Dance Marathon programs
  • Tier 1: New collegiate programs hosting their inaugural Dance Marathon event during the 2022-2023 academic year and collegiate programs raising up to $19,999 in 2021-2022.
  • Tier 2: Collegiate programs that raised between $20,000 and $49,999 in 2021-2022.
  • Tier 3: Collegiate programs that raised between $50,000 and $199,999 in 2021-2022.
  • Tier 4: Collegiate programs that raised between $200,000 and $399,999 in 2021-2022.
  • Tier 5: Collegiate programs that raised over $400,000 in 2021-2022.
