Central Florida Dance Marathon Programs Commit For The Kids on Child Health Day

In celebration of Child Health Day this October, Miracle Network Dance Marathon programs throughout Central Florida rallied together to bring awareness for continued support of their local Children’s Miracle Network hospital, Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Recognizing that Kids Can’t Wait for a return to normal, student leaders from collegiate and K-12 programs planned events and campaigns throughout the day, asking their community to join the movement, spread the word, or donate to the Miracle Network Dance Marathon movement.

Dance Marathon students have had to adapt and change their planning processes while navigating a virtual world. Engaging with people while remote is no easy feat, but students continue to rise above challenges in bringing a sense of belonging and purpose to their student bodies and campuses.

Nine different Central Florida Dance Marathon programs rallied together on Child Health Day, inviting new participants to their programs and collectively raising a combined total of $13,204.81 for the kids treated at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer. Thank you to each and every student leader, participant, and community member that joined forces to help make miracles possible on Child Health Day.

Here are some highlights from Child Health Day featuring the incredible work done by our Central Florida Dance Marathons. We are forever grateful for their commitment to changing kids’ health, and changing the future.
