Celebrating Maine Day

In 1935, the University of Maine decided to set aside a day in the spring for students to help spruce up their campus. Now known as Maine Day, today is set aside for students, faculty, and staff to celebrate service projects and the spirit of giving.

UMaine Black BearTHON, the University’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon, is the school’s largest philanthropic event, and we’re proud to recognize their accomplishments on this Maine Day 2018!

Black BearTHON dancers, thank you for making miracles happen for Maine kids!
