Bates College Football Is All In For The Kids

While Bates College  is only in its 2nd year of its Dance Marathon planning, their sports teams are showing a deep commitment to the cause.

This year, the Bates’ Football Team has invited The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospitals’ local Champion, Brayden Austin to serve as their honorary captain. Brayden has attended multiple football practices and participated in the coin toss for their most recent home game. This Saturday, Brayden and his family will join the team on the field at halftime during Parent’s Weekend to share their personal journey with The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital.

Special thanks to the 11 athletic teams on Bates’ campus that have registered to participate in Dance Marathon 2020! Go Bobcats!
